Bleaching Process

Lipochem plants incorporate high shear mixers in the gum conditioning or degumming section for intense mixing of reagents with oil prior to bleaching. A distinct feature of our bleaching system is the use of steam agitation in the “zig-zag” bleacher. Specially designed steam spargers over a series of sloped trays ensure thorough mixing and prevent earth deposition and stagnant pockets thus reducing maintenance.
